Chibi Aircraft Illustration Gallery

Chibi is from the Japanese meaning "tiny" or "Short" and often describes cartoon characters that are deliberately "cute" such as over sized eyes or heads.

I specialise in this style of illustration simply because it's inventive and fun and there's no plan - what starts life as a fighter jet soon becomes a helicopter (maybe not but you get the idea).

Working without a brief or source material allows free thinking in these aircraft illustrations which I enjoy the most - each one is "almost" like something that exists and "sometimes" resembles real life but in chibi style.

Anyway... I hope you enjoy having a browse and if any take your fancy why not visit my shop where you can purchase a full sized high resolution print download to output at your local printers in a format you want from wall art to a canvas.
